At long last I read Chetan Bhagat's "Five point someone". I am sorry to say I was rather disappointed. I have been hearing about this book for quite some time now and the opinions expessed were always in praise(though in varying degrees). The much hyped window into IIT turned out to be just another college story. The reason for its success may be that till then no one thought of writing a book about their time at IIT. The book I will rate at the same level as Opal Mehta... as far as writing is concerned. To anyone even remotely connected with engineering education, the story has nothing new but to others, it might hold some novelty value.
